Summer fun centre
Summer centre of fun and adrenalin is situated in the gorgeous Kysucké Beskydy mountains in the mountain resort Velká Rača about 30 km from the town Žilina and 3 km from the village Oščadnica. All the summer fun is concentrated at the top cableway stop in Dedovka. There are attraaction as follows
Bobsleigh track – ALPIN COASTER
The main attraction of the up-coming summer season will be the bobsleigh track from the Wiegand company. The bobsleigh ride will start on the right side of the top cableway stop in Dedovka at the bobsleigh garage building. Also the box office and a small refreshment stall will be there.

The track leads from the cableway top stop Dedovka bellow the Koliba cottage through several twists between the cableway and piste no. 2 to make a bridge and end in a marvellous 360 degrees roundel. Then it disappears in the forest between Grúnik and piste no. 2 where it reaches through beautiful twists and jumps the end of the piste at Grúnik where you can get back to the mountain ridge on a 400m long lift.
The bobsleigh track is designed to provide maximum safety, the maximum speed was technically adjusted to 40 km/h and the cart can never leave the track. The rider are fastened to it with safety belts. Each cart has two seats, it’s designed to carry two adults. The bobsleigh track will work in winter too.
Rope park – MONKEY WAY
The entrance to the rope park or the monkey way (if you want) will be situated also at the top cableway stop Dedovka and it will serve to all those taller than 150 cm. It will actually be a track consisting of several kinds of obstacles that will have to be overcome in the height of 2 to 4 m above ground among the trees. The safety rope will be installed in the climbing seat. Each visitor will get a proper training before the start. The whole track will be supervised by an experienced instructor.

Children rope park – SMALL MONKEY WAY
The park is designed for children up to 150 cm tall, all the obstacles will be in the height bellow 30 cm above ground. There will be 8 obstacles – rope pyramid and rope tunnel in the children circuit. The admission to this park is free.
X-JUMP trampolines
These trampolines will be installed on a small platform between the Koliba and Plemenár cottages. There are actually 4 separate trampolines that work on a principle when the jumper bounces on the trampoline a seat is fastened to him that is connected with the construction of the X-jump with elastic bands which allow up to 7 m high jumps, forward and backward somersaults because these bands stabilize at the same time. The basic time unit is 5 minutes.
For the smaller jumpers there is a trampoline site with 8 trampolines where the children can fully enjoy themselves. The basic time unit is 5 minutes.
Four-wheelers
For the adrenalin enthusiasts there is a possibility to enjoy a ride on the forest paths in the Oščadnice surroundings in the two-seat four-wheelers with the escort of an instructor. The rider will be able to try your own craft and skills on two circuits or to agree on an individual trip. The age of 16 years is a condition.
Summer snowboard – MOUNTAIN BOARD
It’s actually something like a snowboard on wheels that gets slowed down with a brake in the hands of the driver. The control is similar to skate board.
Scooter – MONSTER
It’s a robust scooter weighing 18 kg with disk brakes and low centre of gravidity. It will really go up and down any hill.
Three-wheeler – STANLEY RIDER
This three-wheeler has seats, the ride is controlled with legs thatcontrol the front driving wheel. Two hand-controlled leverswork as brakes.
